  • Winner of International Liffey Descent on 7 occasions. Awarded medal for 2nd/3rd position on a further 5 occasions.
  • Record holder for the fastest crossing of the Irish Sea in June 2010 between Rosslare (Ireland) and Fishguard (Wales)
  • Member of the first Irish team ever to circumnavigate the coast of Iceland
  • Completed the 1,000-mile round Ireland expedition in the fastest time ever recorded

  • Dermot is a keen cyclist, hill walker, fisherman and all round outdoor enthusiast who loves to share his experiences with all of our clients

Fergus Power

  • Has the unique record of paddling across the Irish Sea from Rosslare to Fishguard in thick fog. Navigating with only a compass Fergus reached Wales in a time of 16.5 hours. He is now looking forward to paddling across again when he can see where he is going!

  • As well as being an all round outdoor enthusiast Fergus can be regularly seen surfing the waves on Tramore beach or on flat days can be found walking somewhere in the Comeragh mountains. He has been an assistant leader with the 1st port of Waterford sea scouts for 20 years and has, on occasion, played rugby for Waterford city rugby club.
